Every bride is unique, and even the best designed gowns may require adjustments. Ideally, we recommend starting alterations no less than 8-12 weeks prior to your wedding date. Of course, if you have less time, don’t worry. Our goal is to make your journey down the aisle as worry-free as possible and we will work to accommodate your schedule.

All alterations are completed on site by qualified in-house seamstresses, experienced at working on detailed bridal attire. At your first fitting, our seamstresses will analyze every detail of the fit of your gown, from the length of the skirt to the fit at the waist to the fall of the bustle, to ensure it flatters your figure. Whether your dress needs a nip and a tuck or you desire a custom change, on your wedding day your dress will fit as if it was custom made for you.

For your convenience, and to obain the proper fit and length of your gown, we offer shoes and undergarments for your fittings. Our fitters specialize in fitting undergarments and will assist you in selecting the proper undergarments for your gown at the time of your first fitting.

You may want to bring your Mom, sister or other trusted friend to your fittings for another set of eyes and opinion. If your dress will be bustled, your maid of honor should attend your final fitting we can show her how to bustle your dress.
