Alterations

Every bride is unique, and even the best designed gowns may require adjustments. Ideally, we recommend starting alterations no less than 8-12 weeks prior to your wedding date. Of course, if you have less time, don’t worry. Our goal is to make your journey down the aisle as worry-free as possible and we will work to accommodate your schedule. All alterations are completed by qualified in-house seamstresses experienced at working on detailed bridal attire.

At your first fitting, our seamstresses will analyze every detail of the fit of your gown to ensure it flatters your figure. Whether your dress needs a nip and a tuck or you desire a custom change, your dress will fit on your wedding day as if it were custom made.

We do offer undergarments for fittings, but please bring your own shoes. Our seamstresses specialize in fitting undergarments and will assist you in selecting the proper undergarments for your gown at the time of your first fitting.

Your maid of honor should attend the final fitting to learn how to bustle your dress. You may also want to bring trusted family and friends throughout the fittings for another set of eyes and opinion.

Bridal gown alterations usually range between $200 and $600 and are dependent on the areas that need to be altered. Bridal party alterations starting at $50.
